Home School Meets Unschooling

This site provides a framework for my students to get project ideas and to track their goals and activities.


Students will use resources like Masterclass, Khan Academy, and their own imagination to create their own courses and quizzes. There is a focus on project based learning.

Hands Off Home School Projects Include:

  • Writing and Storytelling by creating and hosting D&D campaigns
  • Math and Money Management development by trading stocks and cryptocurrency
  • Statistics and Game Theory by playing chess, betting on sports, and designing games
  • Web Design and Programming by helping develop this and other websites

My wife and I both work full time jobs and putting our kids into HISD schools is not an option. But traditional home schooling is also not an option.

Students select a video series from the site and then create their own quizzes to show what they have learned.

AI

Rather than worry about using Chat GPT and other systems to “cheat”. Students learn to understand how to use and program AI.

Cooking

Students learn by selecting recipes and lessons and then cooking in real world situations.

Science

The study that encourages scientific reasoning, discoveries and inventions.

Mathematics

Understanding the game of numbers and logic to solve real-world problems.

Languages

Learning more modes of communication from different parts of the world.
